Finding that balance

July 10, 2019

The Limbic brain's function is designed to detect and protect us from danger.

The networks that are part of the Limbic brain constantly monitor what's going on around us and what's happening within our body. Because of the constant state of change our Limbic brain strives to maintain an optimal balance.

We have a wide range of emotional and physiological responses all generated by the Limbic network. It is involved in learning and memory, our experience of pain and it motivates our behaviours

Where this balance is disrupted the Limbic network becomes oversensitive e.g in chronic pain or our alarm system may become in chronic fear or anxiety.

Limbic Reflexology aims to help restore the natural balance.

It may be helpful for

Chronic pain

Each Limbic Reflexology treatment has an accumulative effect and can enhance classical Reflexology.
